Work experience
Garner & Hancock provide a work placement which offers real responsibility, the opportunity to work alongside our partners and staff, and in some cases attend training seminars, client meetings, court, employment tribunals and more.
Applications
We offer a small number of unpaid week-long work placements for any university or post graduate students looking to develop their CV in preparation for applying for a training contract with our firm. We normally only accept applications from those eligible to apply for a training contract during the same year the work experience placement takes place. Ordinarily this means that you will be in your second or third year of a full time law degree, in your final year of a non-law degree or undertaking post graduate study. To apply please send a covering letter and a copy of your CV to our email. The deadline for work placements is 1st February for Easter and for summer is 1st May each year.
