Vinay Tanna Recognised in the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List

We are delighted to share that Vinay Tanna, Senior Partner at Garner & Hancock, has been included in the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List, a national initiative celebrating solicitors who have made an exceptional contribution to pro bono legal work over the past year.

This recognition highlights Vinay’s long‑standing commitment to ensuring that individuals and community groups can access clear, compassionate legal support regardless of their circumstances. His work reflects the values at the heart of our firm: service, integrity and a genuine dedication to helping those who need it most.

The Pro Bono Recognition List is supported by the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee and acknowledges solicitors across England and Wales who have volunteered their time and expertise to support justice and strengthen their communities. We are proud to see Vinay’s contribution recognised among this year’s honourees.

Vinay said: I have been involved with charities over the decades. helping young people into apprenticeships. Advising a mental health charity. A seat on various charity bodies. Pro bono is part of the same habit of looking beyond oneself.

He added: “Our skills are not really ours to keep. Whatever we have picked up, whether through hard work or simply through luck, does not mean much when we spend it only on ourselves. The meaning seems to come when we give it away freely.“

On behalf of everyone at Garner & Hancock and Adams Delmar, we congratulate Vinay on this well‑deserved achievement.
