What a Night! Celebrating 25 Years of Support at the Mulberry Cancer Support Charity Quiz

Last week, more than 180 enthusiastic quizzers came together in thirty spirited teams for a topical quiz night in support of Mulberry Cancer Support. The atmosphere at the Holiday Inn London Brentford Lock was buzzing, and thanks to the generosity and good humour of everyone involved, the event raised over £3,000 for The Mulberry Centre – a fantastic way to mark its 25th anniversary.

Teamwork, Trivia, and a Touch of Friendly Competition

Garner & Hancock proudly fielded a joint team with Trustees of Mulberry Cancer Support, led by Nigel George, Partner and Head of Life Planning at Garner & Hancock, and also a trustee of Mulberry Cancer Support under Mulberry Legals.

The team got off to a strong start, sitting comfortably in joint third place at half-time. The second half proved a little tougher, and they eventually settled into a respectable mid‑table finish. But what they lacked in final ranking, they more than made up for in spirit.

With a brilliant mix of ages, backgrounds, and areas of expertise, the team tackled questions ranging from the French Revolution, to The Oscars, to the ever‑important matter of which London borough has the lowest council tax (in case you’re curious – it’s Wandsworth).

A Night to Remember

It was an evening full of laughter, learning, and community – all in support of a cause that touches so many lives. The success of the event is a testament to the dedication of the organisers, the generosity of the participants, and the ongoing commitment to supporting those affected by cancer.
