If you need a document authenticated for use overseas, you’ll usually require the services of a notary. Our notary is a fully qualified solicitor and member of the Notaries Society

A notary’s role is to carefully check your legal documents and certify that they are valid for use abroad. This includes confirming the authenticity of the document, verifying your identity and capacity, and ensuring that you are authorised to sign or request the document. It’s a thorough process designed to give you complete confidence when dealing with international authorities.

Our Notary Services Are Tailored to You

Enjoy a smooth, affordable and truly international notary public service designed around your needs. We can arrange document translation and offer convenient mobile or out‑of‑hours appointments, with availability at our Harrow (North London), West London and Central London locations. Everything is set up to make the process as easy and stress‑free as possible.

A Notary Public can provide the following services for businesses and individuals:

  • Witnessing a power of attorney
  • Notarisation of company documents
  • Apostille and legalisation service
  • Affidavits, statutory declarations, and sworn statements
  • Property transactions, transfers, purchases, sales

What is the cost?

Our fees depend on the type of documents and the service you require. We shall give you an immediate quote once we see the documents.

Fees for notarisation start at £50

Notarisation costs are usually based on the number and type of documents you need, with additional charges for services such as legalisation or travelling to meet clients away from our offices.

Whilst we usually charge on a per-document basis, in some circumstances, such as where we are drafting documents or the documents require substantial amendment, this may not be suitable, and in such cases, we shall charge by reference to the time engaged on the matter and our notary’s hourly rate at the time, which is £200 per hour.

For new clients who instruct us, we shall provide a quote on the above basis before carrying out an instruction, detailing our fees and any known disbursements associated with the work requested.

You don’t have to pay VAT on our Notarial fees. *There is no hidden fee guarantee. There are no sneaky charges; this is a fixed-fee service.

At present, I have Professional Indemnity Cover for not less than £1 million per claim.

The Notarial Practice is regulated through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
