G&H at the Annual Charity Golf Day: A Great Day for a Great Cause

A few weeks ago, our Managing Director and golf enthusiast, Jakub Kotan, enjoyed the annual Charity Golf Day held at Wyke Green Golf Club in Isleworth. The event, organised by the brilliant team at West London Chambers, had everything you’d want from a community day out: a friendly round of golf, good company, and raising money for local charities.

Jakub enjoyed a relaxed game on a beautiful course, followed by drinks, casual networking, a lovely dinner, and, of course, an exciting raffle. One of the highlights was the auction dinner, where guests bid on a range of prizes to support the Chamber’s chosen charities.

We were really proud to get involved. G&H contributed over £200 towards the fundraising, and we also donated a fun prize: a lunch with our Managing Director and another partner, at a restaurant chosen by the auction winner. The lunch ended up going for £150, adding even more to the total raised on the night.

Events like this remind us why community matters. It’s not just about the golf (although Jakub would happily talk about that all day – and yes, he was very disappointed not to walk home with a trophy). It’s about supporting the people, organisations and causes that make West London such a vibrant place to live and work.
