Matthew’s approach is centered on achieving the best results while maintaining a practical and commercially focused perspective. Wherever feasible, he guides clients towards amicable agreements outside of court. However, in cases where court intervention becomes necessary, Matthew ensures clients are navigated through the process, providing steadfast support throughout. He appreciates the stress involved in dealing with legal processes and takes a sensitive approach to ensure clients feel supported.

After graduating with a degree in sociology, Matthew joined G&H in 2018. While working as a paralegal, he completed a law conversion and the Legal Practice Course before being offered a training contract in January 2022. During his training, Matthew gained experience in private client and property cases before deciding to qualify into the Family and Dispute Resolution department. Matthew qualified as a solicitor in January 2024.

Outside of work, Matthew, a former rugby player, stays active through activities such as hiking, running, and open water swimming. He also continues to contribute to the community by volunteering for the Brixton Advice Centre, offering free legal advice to community members.
